At Goonvean Fibres, we offer quality through experience. Since 2004, our manufacturing company has produced high-quality short cut fibres and flocks to the highest standards. Our products suit a variety of applications, and we supply for businesses worldwide, from aerospace and automotive to cosmetics and medicine.

We are committed to quality and understand the importance of quality fibres to our clients and how it benefits their manufacturing process.

What Constitutes Product Quality?

To create quality products there are questions our technical team ask themselves: Does it solve our client’s problem? Does it promote ease of use? Is it as polished as it can be? Is it efficient? And lastly, is it accurately tailored to our customers’ needs?

We have a quality management system in place and build product strategies, test our products in real-life applications and most importantly, listen to what our clients want and need so that we can save them time and money with their own manufacturing process – helping them create high-quality products too.

Why Quality is Important

Product quality can affect purchasing decisions and profitability. However, it isn’t always about the quality of the product or service, but the reputation gained from consistently meeting customer expectations, if not exceeding them.

At our manufacturing company, producing high-quality fibres is critical for the reputation and affinity of ourselves and our customers.

Quality products are also important for:

Customer Expectations, Satisfaction & Loyalty

We strive to create quality fibres that exceed our customers’ expectations. Quality products increase our customer’s satisfaction and loyalty as it saves them time and money on their own manufacturing processes. Their products rely on ours.

Goonvean Fibres only source components and materials from trusted suppliers who meet or exceed our quality standards for all our products and processes. All our products go through quality control. They are tested in real-life situations to maximise customer satisfaction and health and safety.

Establishing a Reputation

If a product is low in quality, customers are unlikely to return. Customers and Prospects can easily share information, so it is important to establish a good reputation for quality products. Goonvean Fibres have established a stellar reputation from our customers for consistently delivering high-quality products that benefit their manufacturing processes.

Meeting Industry Standards

We are proud holders of several quality certifications, including the ISO 9001 certification for quality management. We are also one of the few fibre suppliers worldwide to have an IATF 16949 certification that shows we work to the very high-quality standards required in the automotive industry.

In addition to these, we also hold an ISO 22716 accreditation. This is the international standard for GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) for cosmetics. You can find out more or download our certificates here.

Quality Management

Our continual improvements, defect and fault preventions, reduction of variation, waste in the supply chain and product quality ensures we consistently meet industry (and customer) standards.

Cost Effectivity for Manufacturers & Customers

Manufacturing quality products is beneficial for costs. Producing poor quality products increases the likelihood of returns and replacements. This results in scrapping defective products, using more materials and components to manufacture new ones.

If a product is of poor quality, it will not only incur costs for us but for our customers too. Therefore, it is paramount we avoid it at all costs.

Benefits of Quality Fibres in Manufacturing

As fibre manufacturers, many industries rely on us, from aerospace to automotive and medicine, to provide them with high-quality products that they can use to manufacture their own products.

The benefits we have seen from producing quality fibres for our customers include:

  • Retaining customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Saving money by avoiding the aftereffects of poor-quality fibre products
  • Building a strong reputation and seen growth in our customer base
  • Saving energy on manufacturing machinery and equipment
  • Making our and our customers’ lives easier by not having to carry out extra work to fix defects
