It may not have felt like the most wonderful time of the year for Christmas in 2020, but we knew we had to make the best of a difficult situation and decided to hold a charity raffle for our staff to bring a bit of festive joy to the last day in the factory.
This year our chosen charity was Unicef, who launched their Cornavirus Appeal in 2020 to help children in the UK and overseas by providing potentially life-saving supplies to a whole generation of children who at risk from this disease.
We reached out to a range of our key suppliers who very kindly donated a range of different prizes including hampers, a bluetooth speaker, delicious biscuits and alcoholic beverages.
Staff were able to buy extra ticket entries for the raffle, and we were able to raise £190 for the appeal, which will go towards the great work that Unicef is currently doing to help the younger generations.
