FRUIT STONE
POWDER
Organic Abrasives & Microplastic Alternatives
Fruits are an organic and natural source that has been used in a wide range of applications for many years. From health and beauty products to construction, fruits have several properties that are a natural and plastic-free alternative to other materials.
Our fruit stone powders and grits can be found in face and body scrubs, anti-slip paints and coatings, and construction materials, such as chipboard. Our powders and grits have an advantage over other natural granules including nuts, wood, corn, cellulose, silica, and pumice, due to their anti-allergenic properties which are perfect for manufacturing sensitive skin products.
Fruit stones and grits are also an excellent alternative to microplastics, making them popular among manufacturers who are trying to go green and tackle climate change.
Quality matters, so at Goonvean Fibres, we’ve added further value to our fruit stones, including enhanced traceability.
Available in a range of sizes.
Standard Fibre Details
All our fruit stones and grits are ideal for cosmetic applications to manufacturing face washes, exfoliators, lotions, balms, creams, and more. Our olive stones and powders, for example, are odourless and gentle on the skin. We also supply walnut materials which are hard and durable and can be used in cosmetic and personal care applications, as well as engineering and stone polishing.
Almonds are softer than most other fruit stones and nuts, meaning they are gentler on the skin. Almonds are a popular choice for manufacturing natural exfoliants, whereas apricot stones and powders are an excellent additive to lotions and balms, adding a creamy and moisturising texture. They are also great for thickening products.
Peach stones and grits are created by drying and milling and are ideal for exfoliators. They contain nut-related allergens, however, have excellent thickening properties.
All our fruit stones and grits are perfect for manufacturers looking for more natural and clean alternatives, particularly in the cosmetics industry.
