Goonvean Fibres is one of Europe’s leading producers of technical fibre solutions. We offer authentic technical fibre solutions with efficiency and quality at the heart of everything we produce.
We process several thousand tonnes of precision and random cut fibre products and speciality powders for export from the UK and USA to over 50 countries worldwide.
Our US warehouse is located in Chicago (USA), which is able to distribute our products using a just in time (JIT) inventory method.
Just in time (JIT) inventory increases efficiency and decreases fibre product waste as it allows us to receive goods only as they are needed in the production process. This also reduces cost to the client.
We have a wide global distribution network which ensures that local customer support and technical advice is available in your native language when you need it most.
Quality, certified products and manufacturing processes
We are proud holders of the ISO 9001 certification for quality management, and are one of the few global fibre suppliers to hold the coveted IATF 16949 certification. IATF 16949 emphasises that Goonvean Fibres has developed a process-oriented quality management system that focuses on continual improvement, defect prevention, and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.
We also hold ISO 22716, the international standard for the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics. ISO 22716 provides guidance to documenting and regulating the production, control, storage, and shipment of cosmetic products and demonstrates commitment to the safety of cosmetic products.
